Sunset Festival a great Success

Wirral's first music festival was a great success.  Some 5,000 music-lovers converged on a Thursaston farm on the Wirral for a festival that almost didn’t happen.  Organisers said the Sunset Festival was a huge success – but blamed a legal challenge for lower than expected numbers.

British rapper Tinchy Stryder led a huge line-up of bands and DJs in four arenas. Welsh rock band The Automatic, best known for their hits Monster and Steve McQueen, headlined the John Peel tribute/live tent.

We wanted to see how it panned out this year, so we are really pleased it went well.  We may look to attend next year.  Well done to all involved...
